LeBron Raymone James Sr. born on the 30th of December 1984 is an American professional basketball player who is a member of the Los Angeles Lakers (NBA) within the National Basketball Association. James born in Akron Ohio, played basketball at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School. The national media hailed him as a possibility NBA superstar. James was chosen by the Cleveland Cavaliers as the top selection of the NBA draft in 2003. Following his selection as 2004's NBA Rookie of the Year, he quickly became a top player in the NBA receiving the NBA's MVP Award in 2009 as well as 2010. After failing to win an NBA championship, Cleveland James left in 2010 as a free agent in order to become a member of with the Miami Heat this was announced in the television special The Decision and is among the most controversial free-agent decisions in sports history.
